I went to Sheridan college for a vet assistant program after completing a university degree. I have been working in the vet med field for about 4 years now. 
I've had experience as a professional dog walker, vet receptionist, and a vet assistant in both emergency hospitals and general medicine clinics. 
I have worked with over 30 clients since I've started doing independent pet care in 2023. 
My passion is caring for animals and ensuring they are happy, healthy and safe. My goal is to have as smooth of a transition from the pet parent to me. This means keeping up with individual pets schedules and needs and staying in frequent contact with pet parents.

Hi I'm Talia, a huge animal lover. I am 23 years old and I work as a full time Fire prevention technician.I started taking care of animals in 2017 at the SPCA de l'Outaouais. I would walk the dogs, bathe them, feed them, play with the cats, and help care for the other small animals. I also helped care for our 11 rescued animals; 5 guinea pigs, 5 cats, and our dog Almendra before I recently moved out. Now I have a guinea pig and a cat. I have always had a strong love and compassion for animals and all of our animals are rescues.&nbsp;I have a lot of experience with a variety of different animals of different ages and health levels, from feeding them, clipping nails, to giving them medication. I've done a bit of everything over my last few years of rescuing and helping out rescues.&nbsp;I can also come to your house to feed your animals, play with them, clean the litter, and what ever else they may need. I have experience with taking care of mice, hamsters, guinea pigs, bunnies, cats, and dogs.For overnight stays at my place I can only accommodate for small animals or a small dog. I have a room set up specifically for small animals like guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, rats,.. I have 2 Midwest cages suitable for guinea pigs.&nbsp;Please note that I am only available for two visits to your house a day on the weekends and holidays.I would love to help you out by walking your dog and taking care of your animals while you're away!Can't wait to meet your fur babies!
